I don't normally do head shots, but enjoyed the challenge of this one... and love any time I can spend with my Bestie!! It's easy with such a gorgeous subject :)

Lisa {san francisco portrait photographer}
Lisa has been my best friend since we met at age twelve. One of the biggest reasons I got into baby photography is because I couldn't stop taking photos of her beautiful babies, Jules and Omi. Well now I am taking photos of her! She asked me to do some for a regression CD (called The Art of Embodiment) she is putting out as the owner of 7 Steps of the Soul. Luckily she was in town for Dana & Caleb's wedding last week, and we were able to sneak in a photo shoot around our busy schedule.

dana + caleb sneak peek {sonoma wedding photographer}
Spent the day Thursday in gorgeous weather at Trentadue Winery up in Sonoma for Dana & Caleb's wedding. Dana is the cousin of my best friend and I was asked to shoot her wedding many years ago. I don't do a lot of weddings, but enjoy the challenge... especially when it's someone as cool and beautiful as Dana :)
Wedding photos of the couple alone are always my favorite, so I'm starting with these for the sneak peek. Congratulations Dana & Caleb!

new knit hat {san francisco newborn photographer}
i finally got a chance to stop by my favorite yarn store, artfibers, in the city this past week. they make their own yarn and use the most beautiful dyes... i just love all of the choices. i saw this yarn and immediately knew i was going to make this hat. the texture and colors are perfect for my next newborn shoot (most likely my niece or nephew!) i did splurge and buy some other yarn too for another hat. coming soon! aaaand... might be back there in a few weeks to get some more of this stuff to make a cocoon. so much fun to make my own props :)
